A really floral geisha with a huge watering mouthfeel that reminds me of eating cold watermelon on a sunny hot day. It's the same sensation as eating a ripe tropical fruit. The texture is silky and smooth like frozen jogurt, with a clean aftertaste. No sharp or vinegar notes from the fermentation.

One of the top producers from El Salvador having worked for many years now with many great importers from all over the world (Nordic Approach, Marreterra, Jasal).  They have a big selection of varietals growing, beside geisha they also have sl28.

A unique and unrepeatable coffee by Andrés Salaverria
We tell you the story behind the producer's recognition and tribute.
The name Francisco José Remberto honors the teamwork developed by Andrés Salaverria and his team, especially those in charge of the San Francisco farm project. Francisco, José and Remberto who with a challenge and a great passion from day one in 2017 put a lot of passion and interest in planting new varieties, African SL 28, SL34 and Geisha, all of these, new to our land. Likewise, it would not be possible without the efforts of the industrial process managers Juan Chicas, Raúl and Roció who dedicate a lot of time ensuring an adequate industrial process. This lot is a clear example of the result of the good work put in from the harvesting of the fruit at its optimum point, its cold fermentation process, to its export process. We honor the work that all of them have done and we will continue working hard to continue offering these and more exotic varieties from our beloved country El Salvador.

San Francisco is the farm where Andrés and his team produce such an exceptional coffee.
We explain in brief details of the cultivation of his farm, located in the coffee-growing region of Apaneca Ilamatepec.
The Salaverria family has been cultivating coffees generation after generation, some of its farms have been in the family for more than one hundred years, a great family of producers that adapts day by day to the needs of the moment, implementing improvements and developing projects in its farms to obtain and guarantee the best quality of its coffees.
The Salaverria family owns several farms located in the coffee growing region of Apaneca Ilamatepec, all of them have great stories that are born of volcanic soils rich in minerals, excellent for the cultivation of coffee.
Sustainable coffees, nature reserves, agricultural projects, varietal experimentation… these are some of the projects that the Salaverría family is developing on its farms.
